The Bulls announced that the second-year forward will likely miss 4-to-6 weeks, which puts his availability for the start of the season in doubt.
Analysis: The Bulls will likely start the season without two of their promising young players in Williams and Coby White, who underwent shoulder surgery in June and isn't expected back until November. Williams, the No. 4 overall pick of the 2020 draft, averaged 9.2 points and 4.6 rebounds per game as a rookie.
